divine gratitude or gratitude of the divine

co-heir on a wooded path

robed in patchwork of brilliance

crowned in sunlight

carpet of goldens and occassional reds rolling and tumbling the way

steps seared by flames of color, burning away my chaff, the season, the old life

every clap, snap, scurry, beam, chirp and crunch paying homage not to the walker/stalker, but the maker

gusts rise up, confetti falls, All Hail!

purged, restored, new season, new self, rest

(thoughts from yesterday)

  1. Ummmm, somebody please tell me next time I butcher a word like devine/divine! Consider it edited. My thoughts are always a jumble. . I can’t imagine how you figured any of it out. . . you all are clever and so I’ll rest on that and that you are far too nice to alert me to the obvious. Devein would’ve brought an even more hilarious conclusion, maybe next time!
