graft, grafting, grafted

I love this word, this image. 

Grafting is a painful process involving severe pruning, cutting, splicing, inserting and bandaging.  It’s the pairing of two different species to create something even more beautiful, resilient or productive.

The ParkeHarrison’s images stick in my mind like a well-said phrase or a perfectly played jingle, rolling over and over.  I’m quite infatuated with them.

And this is what I’m thinking about.
