Been intrigued by eating more raw-ly due in part to my increasing food sensitivities, etc. and recent introduction by a close friend to this website: Walk Slowly, Live Wildly
She is a young mother with a toddler and her family is on a tour of the country in their vegetable oil powered RV. She’s very into eating everything raw and has another interesting and addicting website that chronicles her growing knowledge of what this means for their family, called Happy Foody. We’ve been delighting in Green Smoothies(or Super Power Superman and Supergirl Smoothies, as the kids call them. When the kids want to try them, they claim to run faster and jump higher!) We don’t want to push them on the kids, its just not helpful in the long run 🙂
I am always amazed at how much there is to learn when I embark on a new challenge. It can be overwhelming, but I’m really enjoying cleansing my body of the processed stuff and replacing it with nourishing fresh whole foods. I feel tremendously good and energetic. Another pleasant aspect of this new challenge is that I am appreciating food in its original form. Eating isn’t just a means to an end but an experience of Creation in a whole new way.
