Emma is talking. A lot. All the time. Sometimes I’m not sure if she’s actually saying something or if she just likes practicing her voice inflection, but she’s definately having a conversation about something. She’s singing, too, now, which is pretty doggone cute. I have to make a list here of the definitions for her words, so I remember them. They are all pretty close to the originals just minus the vowels most of the time:
no no= snowman, snow pants and snow flakes
bat=bath which is always followed with nay nay as she starts to remove her clothing and climb the stairs.
Sorry its such a lengthy list but there are so many now, it hard to keep track of them all. Each day she surprises me with how many more she knows. Josiah doesn’t have quite so many under his belt yet, mostly just “lights,” which he says a million times a day. He knows truck and duck and few more. They sort of take turns progressing in this area. Like leap frog. I know language can take a bit longer for boys, so I’m not worried. It sure does make things easier when they can tell you what they want.
The first pic is of them eating breakfast with Ragedy Ann and Curious George at their new pooh table they got for Christmas. Josiah is kissing George’s head and Emma’s dragging Ragedy Ann to a better seat. The one of Josiah was such a good shot, I had to post it. Its a look he sports a lot.
